I've worked in way too many multinational corporations designing, testing, maintaining and building everything from cars to warships. With every new company and industry I grew more disillusioned with who I was being trained and rewarded to become. The 'higher' up the ladder I clambered and the more people I was responsible for the more disillusioned I became. I was taught a lot of things that supposedly made me a better manager.
